There are many reports of people overheating the transmissions on their late model Toyotas, so I knew owners will be looking for ways to keep them cooler. The dash light comes on at around 300 degrees F, by that time the trans fluid has been overheated to the point it requires replacement. Even The Fast Lane Truck's YouTube channel test Tacoma reached 275 degrees during an ordinary towing test.
It seems that through testing and reports, this next generation of Toyota trucks requires an auxiliary transmission cooler even more than the previous generations. That large need, combined with the weight and power of the next generation of Toyota trucks, is why I developed this bracket to mount the largest trans cooler I have ever offered.
